Buy Dr. Beegood's Tattoo Preserver

The Proof

Wow, I used your stuff as soon as I
started getting my tatts, and it healed them
faster than the medicated creams - amazing.
Keeps them soft and colours bright, no more
itchy, flaky skin as they heal, thanks Jill!
- Marty Baker

This is great stuff - a client of ours used
it on a fresh tattoo and she said that it is
healing much faster (made it scab faster) than
anything else she has used.

The Story

My good friend Rosie's son Marty asked us to make something for him a few years ago when he began (much to his mum's horror) getting major tattoo work done, and wanted something truly natural (instead of the generally used medicated chemical goos) to aid recovery and keep his precious body art moisturised. We made it for all his friends, and DR. BEEGOOD's TATTOO PRESERVER was born!

The Benefits

  • 100% natural, pure, safe and gentle
  • Rich in Tasmania's active Leatherwood beeswax, honey and intensely moisturising plant oils
  • Lasts much longer on the skin
  • Contains Tasmania's famous essential oils - Lavender and Kunzea - for their soothing and healing benefits
  • A little goes a long, long way so DR. BEEGOOD'S is very cost effective

The Advice

Below are some great tips from Kate Welsh, from Swallow Ink Tattoos, Hobart. It's now up to you to follow these care instructions to ensure that your body art looks perfect.

  • BEFORE APPLICATION OF DR. BEEGOOD'S

Leave dressing on for 2 hours. Then lather up with Beauty and the Bees Natural Soaps (click here to buy online) and gently wash art work, rinse well and pat dry. Wait 1/2 an hour to allow it to dry, then apply a thin layer of Dr Beegood's Tattoo Preserver.
  • KEEP YOUR ART CLEAN

Keep your art clean by washing with a gentle Beauty and the Bees Natural Soap (click here to buy online), day and night for the first 3 days. Rinse well and pat dry - don't rub. Do this at least twice a day (remembering to wait 1/2 an hour for tattoo to dry) then apply thin layer of Dr Beegood's until it heals. Once scab is off, to keep it looking smooth and bright and to avoid dry look, use Dr. Beegood's daily.
  • DO NOT SOAK YOUR ART

(No spas, extra long baths or swimming etc). When exposed to excessive moisture your body art becomes soggy and prolongs the healing process and may cause infection.
  • DO NOT PICK YOUR ART

While your art is healing and the scab is forming, it will get itchy. Wash and apply a thin layer of Dr.Beegood's... Don't pick the scab as this will pull the ink out. The longer the scab stays on the better.
  • SUN EXPOSURE

The sun will fade your new and old body art. Keep all healing body art out of direct sunlight. Use sunscreen to protect it from fading ONCE it has healed.
